Introduction

The PolyMat by Fortuna is a unique decontaminating antimicrobial mat that’s new to the UK.

The PolyMat is one structure with 30 thin layers that collects dirt from people’s shoes as they enter a room.
When the top layer has captured as much dust and bacteria as it can hold, you simply remove it, and there’s a clean layer underneath.

It can be purchased in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours, but if you want to try it first, we can send you a reduced-price trial sample.

The PolyMat can help maintain the highest level of hygiene and provide visible reassurance for staff and customers in these anxious times.

Potential Users

The PolyMat can be used, in combination with other measures, to reduce the microbial load within an environment and help prevent infection. Examples where the PolyMat has been used to improve hygiene include:

How it works

The multi-layer decontaminating PolyMat acts as a barrier for bacteria and dust when placed at the entrance of an area that needs to be kept clean. The mat captures and retains dust and bacteria, thus providing a barrier against the growth and spread of micro-organisms.

Each mat is made up of 30 removable low-density polythene sheets. All captured contaminants are removed by stripping a layer of the mat. The following layer is then ready to work as a refreshed barrier.
