Sling Training Day - 8th June 2023

Learn about Slings and Furniture Raising

Slings, seem simple in principle, but making the right choice can be daunting in practice because of the large variety available to suit different user needs.

In collaboration with Silvalea, an expert UK manufacturer of high-quality slings we will be hosting a sling training day aimed at healthcare and care professionals.

This will run from 10am until 3.30 pm on Thursday 8th June 2023 at Fortuna's training suite in Enfield. People will be able to drop in at any time and discuss their needs. However, there will also be two hour-long talks (running from 10.30-11.30am and from 2-3pm) on the subject:

'Selecting the Correct Sling for a Patient's Needs'

Types of slings | Assessing patients needs | Measuring for slings | tailor made slings

Members of the Fortuna.Bambach team will also be available to help demonstrate the slings on a one to one basis and also to give instruction on Furniture Raising: indications |alternatives |equipment | measurement
