The Severn portachair is our express seat. By focusing on the essentials, we can have a seat ready for delivery to you within 4 working days; and because it is based on the standard Lea portachair it can combine excellent performance with good value.
It's designed for people with limited mobility, who require a combination of comfort, pressure management and postural positioning.

The Lateral back provides maximum support for the user, a zipped rear allows for minor adjustments to the cushion density.

The Severn has an in-built Tilt-in-Space movement, controlled using the rear push handle, to allow the chair to be reclined in a range of positions while maintaining a constant back angle.

Medium risk pressure care is standard, with an interchangeable seat module to accommodate a high-risk pressure cushion if needed.

The footplate can be adjusted for both angle and height, with a range of up to 100mm.

Although the Severn cannot be customised to the same extent as our other chairs and is available in only one colour choice, it will be suitable for many users. Our expert seating advisors will be able to make an assesment of what is required and advise on the suitability for the user.
