Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

Warranty

  • Products are covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty, which is generally 12 months
  • The till receipt (paper or electronic) is required
  • Photographic evidence of the problem may be required in relevant cases
  • The faulty item must be returned to Fortuna. If that is not possible and we need to send out a technician, we will charge a call out fee of £25-£250 depending on their travel time.

Returns Policy

Following the delivery of products from Fortuna Mobility they can be returned subject to the following conditions:

  • A request for return is made within 60 days of delivery.
  • No evidence of wear and tear.
  • A handling fee of 10% of the purchase price will be charged for stock items within the first 25 days.
  • Between 25-60 days a handling fee of 25% will be charged.
  • There will be an addtional collection charge of £25-£200 if the item has to be collected from the customer.

Cancellation or return of Special Customer Orders

  • If the order is cancelled before delivery Fortuna Mobility will retain the Deposit up to 50% of the sales price
  • A request for return must made within 25 days of delivery.
  • No evidence of wear and tear
  • A handling fee of 50% of the purchase price will be charged for stock items within the 25-day period
  • There will be a further collection charge of £25-£200 if the item has to be collected from the customer

Buy-Back Option

  • A buy-back option is potentially available between 6 months and 2 years after purchase.
  • Our offer will vary with Age, Condition and Type of the product
  • In general, it is likely to vary between 20-30% of the original purchase price
  • There will be a further transport charge of £25-£200 if the item has to be collected from the customer

Sold as Seen

  • Generally, ‘Sold as Seen’ will be ex-demonstration or refurbished stock which is priced with a substantial discount and does not come with all the benefits of a new product
  • The customer should be aware that, depending on the age of the item, the manufacturer’s warranty may have elapsed
  • If the items is not under warranty, then the costs of parts or labour will need to be paid by the customer
  • If the product includes batteries, we would normally advise purchasing new replacements. However, should the customer decide to keep the originals, this will be at their own risk.
