The AVON powered portachair is designed for semi-ambulant people with limited mobility, who are still able to stand with help.
Its Dual Motor configuration enables the user to rise to a standing position at the press of a button. The tilt-in-space recline function also permits independent foot and back adjustment, allowing the user to find the best position possible.
It provides the user with a combination of comfort, pressure management and postural positioning.

The Lateral back provides maximum support for the user, a zipped rear allows for minor adjustments to the cushion density.

The Avon has an in-built Tilt-in-Space movement, controlled using a push-button handcontrol, to allow the chair to be reclined in a range of positions while maintaining a constant back angle.

100mm Levina castors are available in both directional and total lock to help with steering.

A fold-down footplate provides a stable platform for the user while being transported. While not in use, the footplate will fold away and is held in place with magnets.
A sewn-in loop is used to re-position the footplate.

Medium risk pressure care is standard, with an interchangeable seat module to accommodate a high-risk pressure cushion if needed. Removeable back and seat cushions allow access for thorough cleaning.
