The SomaCare Holly is a highly adaptable healthcare riser recliner that combines contemporary design with advanced dimensional movement.
The unique configuration of arms allows it be used in combination with a Sara Stedy or other similar transfer aids
It is designed for use in peoples homes, residential care and clinical environments - providing exceptional comfort while supporting complex seating needs.
Every element of the chair has been developed to provide flexibility, postural support and long-term durability.
The SomaCare Holly has an in-built Tilt-in-Space movement, controlled using a push-button handcontrol. This allows the chair to be reclined in a range of positions while maintaining a constant back angle to redistribute pressure while maintaining the angles at the hips, knees and ankles.
The Holly riser recliner is available with multiple back options (see below) allowing people to find and individual solution. Zipped rear access allows the shape of the cusions to by adapted to help with specific postural problems.
2-Tier Drop Back
A classic fibre back cushion for high comfort. It is fully adjustable with zip access at the rear to offer tailored back support
Vertical 2-Tier Drop Back
This comfortable fibre-filled back can adapted to help reduce pressure around the spine, particularly with more complex postural needs like scoliosis and kyphosis
3-Tier Drop Back
Each individually fibre filled
cushion has zipped rear access
for adjustment of shape, to suit the indivicual user.
Lateral Back
A choice of firm foam-filled or soft fibre Lateral Back, to help promote good posture by maintaining a healthy mid-line position from the hips upwards,
Enhanced adjustability is at the heart of the Holly. The chair has been engineered to adapt to the user rather than forcing the user to adapt to the chair.
Quick-release turn wheels allow seat height and seat depth to be adjusted with ease, enabling a more personalised fit. This makes the Holly suitable for a wide range of body shapes and clinical requirements, and ideal for changing needs over time.
Seat Depth Adjustability
Alternative seat depths are achieved by lengthening the seat box from the underneath ‘turn wheels’ and also by using our dual back frame brackets.
Seat Height Adjustability
Alternative seat heights can be achieved on the Eco-Flex with use of 1” & 2” risers that can be installed quickly and easily
Footboard Adjustability
The Eco-Flex offers complete footboard adjustability of up to 2” which is achieved from the underneath ‘turn wheels’ of the footboard
Moving and Handling
Where there is a requirement for transferring users the Eco-Flex is designed with two faceted arms to allow easy access with wheeled hoists.
Allows the ability to adjust the contoursof the back by use of foam inserts, to maximise support where needed.
