The CarePlus Poplar is our express seat. By focusing on the essentials, we can have a seat ready for delivery to you within 4 working days; and because it is based on the standard Birch clinical riser recliner it can combine excellent performance with good value.
It's designed for people with complex clinical needs, who require a combination of comfort, pressure management and postural positioning.
The 3-tier drop back is suitable for any user including those with complex postural problems including kyphosis or scoliosis. The shape of the cushion can be adjusted as the rear of the cushion has zipped access.
The Poplar has an in-built Dual Motor Tilt-in-Space movement, controlled using a push-button handcontrol to allow the chair to be reclined in a range of positions while maintaining a constant back angle.
Medium risk pressure care comes as standard, with an interchangeable seat module to accommodate a high-risk pressure cushion if required.
Although the Poplar cannot be customised to the same extent as our other chairs and is available in only one colour choice, it will be suitable for many users. Our expert seating advisors will be able to make an assesment of what is required and advise on the suitability for the user.
