Lunch & Learn - Overview of Moving & Handling: Hoists, Slings, Regulations (Testing and Training)

Learn about and Try a range of slings and hoists

Finding solutions to suit different user needs can be difficult. In collaboration with industry experts we will be hosting a demo and training day on specialist equipment including:

• Silvalea Slings

• Mobile Hoists (ETAC Molift, Oxford, Birdie Evo)

• Gantry Hoists (Savaria)

• In-bed transfer systems

• Demonstration of LOLER Testing

• HSE regulations

This is a great chance to learn about, see and in particular TRY OUT a variety of equipment.

The day is suitable for healthcare and care professionals.

This will run from 10am until 3.30 pm on Wednesday 10th July 2024 at Fortuna's training suite in Enfield. People will be able to drop in at any time and discuss their needs. However, there will also be demonstrations (running from 10.30-11.30am and from 2-3pm):
