Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. How long does installation take?

A. Most wetroom installations take 5–10 days, depending on the bathroom size, layout and specification.

Q. Will water leak into other areas?

A. No. Our installations include full waterproofing and drainage planning to ensure water remains contained without risk of leaks.

Q. Can I choose fixtures and finishes?

A. Yes. During the planning stage, you’ll select tiles, flooring, fixtures, and any mobility accessories you require, but if your wetroom has been planned by an OT the we must follow their specification.

Q. Will my water/electricity be turned off?

A. Your services may need to be isolated for very short periods, but these times will be kept to an absolute minimum and you will be informed by our technicians when they are turning services off and we will never leave you without water or power overnight.

Q. The only toilet in my house is in the bathroom, will I be left without a toilet during Installation?

A. No your toilet will be available during installation and you will never be left without a working WC overnight. If you wish to use the toilet you only need to ask our technicians and they will leave the room as this is a common situation for them. There may be a couple of periods where the toilet is unavailable for short periods, such as when a WC is removed to be replaced or when the floor is being fitted, but you will be made aware of this and given an estimate as to how long it will be unavailable for.

Q. I am short/tall how will you know where to put rails, seats etc?

A. At the point of rails seats etc. being installed we will either get you into the room to see what is comfortable and easy for you to use, or in situations where the wetroom has been designed by an OT they would normally have provided all the information required.

Q. What times should I expect workman in my home?

A. Our technicians work between approximately 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (we don't work weekends except in extreme circumstances), but sometimes have to collect parts etc; however you will be kept fully advised day to day of arrival times.
