FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW)

(FAW – 3 DAYS)

Standard Course Time: 9.30am -4.30pm

This is an approved course to comply with the First Aid at Work regulations for a First Aider in the workplace. It is carried out by an approved instructor and is ideal for all business types where the risk assessment requires a higher level of training as well as other area's where a more comprehensive first aid course is required.

Duration
It is 18 contact hours and conducted over a minimum of 3 days (although can be longer as long as each lesson at least 2 hours contact time).

Certification
The certificate is valid for 3 years and then you can attend a 2 day requalification as long as your certificate is still in date. You will be assessed on completion of the course by 1 or 2 assessors (not the instructor). This course must be taught 100% in classroom and not online.
