Q. What are home adaptations?

A. Home adaptations are changes made to a property to improve accessibility, safety and independence for people with reduced mobility, disability or age-related needs.

Q. Do you provide free surveys?

A. Yes. We offer free advice, home surveys and no-obligation quotations, whether you know exactly what you need or would like advice and ideas.

Q. Can you work with Occupational Therapists and Local Authorities?

A. Absolutely. We regularly work alongside OTs, Housing Associations, and Local Authorities, and can deliver adaptations specified through OT assessments or Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs).

Q. How long does it take to complete an adaptation?

A. Timescales vary depending on the work involved. Minor adaptations may be completed in a day, while larger projects such as wet rooms or permanent ramps will take several days - we'll advise you on what's involved.

Q. Can existing bathrooms really be converted into wet rooms?

A. Almost any bathroom or suitable space can be converted into a level-access wet room, subject to survey and structural considerations.

Q. Are ceiling hoists suitable for domestic properties?

A. Yes. Ceiling track hoists can be installed in most homes and designed to suit individual layouts, including bedrooms, bathrooms and transfers between different rooms.
