The Enfield COPD Support Group takes great pride in providing support for people affected by lung conditions, as well as their friends, family and carers. It is a self-help charity run entirely by volunteers (registered Charity No.1162817).
Monthly meetings give people an opportunity to share their experiences and to learn more about their condition in a social setting, so they do not feel isolated. The meetings include refreshments and a raffle - there is a small charge to cover costs.
As well as the monthly meetings there are day trips to the seaside, wildlife parks, boat trips on the River Lea and a Christmas Party. To promote and fund these activities there are leaflet handouts at local stores and supermarkets and stall-sales are run at local markets and fetes.
Our meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday every month, except August, at:
