Troubleshooting for Hoists

If you're experiencing problems with your hoist, we would would suggest working through the following checklist:

Is the hoist charged? If in doubt try charging it for 30 minutes and then see if it's working.
Is the plug socket switched off? See below.
Is the red button 'out'? See below.

Disconnet from hoist

Most hoists will not work while they are being charged.

If you are using the hoist, make sure that the plug is switched off at the socket when you try to use the hoist (see images).

If in doubt, you can simply unplug the hoist.

Emergency Button

Hoists have a red emergency stop button. If this gets accidentally pushed in, the hoist will stop working normally.

If the button is in the correct position there will be YELLLOW visible (see images).

TWISTING the button will release the mechanism and the hoist should start working again.

If this doesn't solve the problem, try and answer the following questions

Q. When did you notice a problem?
Q. Did something happen?
Q. Is there any unusual noise?
