At Fortuna Mobility, we’re delighted to announce our next Lunch and Learn training event — focused on one of the most important topics in health and social care: Falls – Overview, Causes, Prevention and Management.

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury and loss of independence among older adults and vulnerable people. This interactive training session will provide healthcare professionals, carers, and therapists with practical insights, demonstrations, and hands-on experience to help prevent and manage falls more effectively.

What to Expect

In collaboration with our trusted UK manufacturers, we’ll be hosting a day of training and live equipment demonstrations designed to build confidence and knowledge around safe mobility, recovery, and prevention strategies.

You’ll have the chance to:

Learn about, see and try a wide range of mobility and handling equipment
Attend expert-led talks and demonstrations (from 10.30am)
Drop in at any time to speak with our experienced team about moving & handling solutions
Enjoy lunch and networking between 12.30pm and 2pm

Equipment and Topics Covered

Participants will get hands-on experience with some of the latest innovations in mobility and care equipment, including:

Mangar/Winncare raising products – Eagle, Elk & Camel
Walking aids – including the popular Topro Taurus
Stair solutions – featuring the innovative StairSteady
Ramps and access solutions
Furniture-raising workshop – a practical, hands-on session
Plus, other equipment for bathroom and toileting, footwear, seating, and hoists

Expert Speakers

Our sessions will be led by experienced professionals from across the sector, including:
